The idea was to customise one of the toy models from Vinyl Scape under the topic of beer. All the pieces were exhibited and sold at auction the last day at Plastic Murs gallery, located in the Ruzafa quarter of Valencia (Spain).
My piece is a graphic intervention over the unspoilt surface of the vinyl toy. Taking advantage of its matte surface, I applied over it a variety of hand painted lettering pieces of different styles with lettering enamel (1 Shot), creating an interesting game between the matte surface and the glossy finishing of the enamel.
This piece is a tribute to all the beer lovers, for those who love going from pub to pub for tasting all the kind of different beers that exist.
Dave’s life revolves around the most famous amber liquid: He works on the brewery carrying beer barrels to the trucks by day and he visits his favourite pubs to enjoy the passion of his life at night.
His body is a tribute to the beverage he loves the most, inked on his skin, leaving it almost completely covered. But this is not the end, he still have some space for two of his recent discoveries: Zeta Hell and Zeta Hop.
